Am I the only person who finds it odd when my profession is referred to as "SEO folks" ?
I can't speak for everyone, but I haven't met too many folks who were born in the SEO shire.
I wasn't raised in a humble village of folks who build backlinks all day and sleep under huts made of dried graphs.
Where every weekend we sacrifice a landing page pray to the Google gods that the fields would be blessed by ranking.
I didn't lose my daddy on a boat that drifted out too far on the internet and got wrecked by an algorithm update.
Are we SEO folks? Maybe we're SEO Professionals?
Haven't we all studied and trained in the arts of optimizing content for search engines?
Haven't we all spent sleepless nights studying the gospel of the data--whether you're an ahreferee or a SEMrusher, you weren't born an SEO you were made one.
We are colleagues, we are not folks!
